Plot Summary: Dean Georgaris' script is based on an original story by Kirk Petruccelli & Lloyd Levin. Stemming from the Eidos Interactive Game Series developed by Core Design, "The Cradle of Life" pits Lara Croft against her greatest challenges and dangers yet, and her physical prowess is tested as never before. In the sequel, Lara Croft will have to go up against the brilliant and urbane villain Chen Lo, head of a Chinese crime syndicate. Lo is a savvy businessman and negotiator, and he can also be a ruthless, cold-blooded killer. Butler stars as Terry Sheridan, a former Croft paramour pressed into service on her latest mission despite lingering recriminations from their tumultuous affair.
